Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP): We are looking for someone with a strong track record of successfully developing scalable web-based products. You should have a deep understanding of databases and be proficient in working with third-party APIs. As a crucial member of our team, you will collaborate effectively at all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial requirement discussions with stakeholders to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will be helping them develop their new online platform and user journey amongst other task but ultimately your work will be pivotal in helping them improve their customer interactions and overall satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain advanced web applications and back-end solutions.
? Ensure the delivery of high-quality code, following best programming practices.
? Work closely with the CTO, Lead Engineers, UX team and Product Department to align technical solutions with business requirements.
? Manage the balance between new development initiatives and maintenance of existing systems to address technical debt, dependencies, vulnerabilities, and architecture evolution.
? Foster a collaborative environment that promotes empowerment, support, and challenges team members to excel.
? Stay updated on new technologies, trends, and best practices in order to continually improve development processes.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Requirements:
? Proven experience building web applications using PHP and Laravel.
? Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js.
? Hands-on experience in designing and implementing RESTful web APIs.
? Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
? Meticulous attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
? Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment that embraces growth and change.
? Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.
