Senior Hardware Engineer

My client is currently looking for a Senior/Staff Electronics Hardware Engineer for a permanent job opportunity working onsite near Milton Keynes.

Salary: 55,000-65,000 GBP (flexible) + benefits

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hardware Circuit design and Simulation experience.
• Overall experience should have Firmware development
• Strong fundamental knowledge and understanding analog circuit designs, LCR circuit analysis, current driving inductance and capacitance analysis / estimation / calculations.
• Good understanding and knowledge of electrical and optical components like photo detectors, laser diodes, driver circuit component, etc.
• Experiences in design in optical components circuits like laser driver circuit design, Receiver CDR and testing
• Design experience in linear circuits LDO, amplifiers, OPAMP circuits, Comparators, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs.
• Experience with schematic / PCB layout / Simulation tools like Cadence, Altium, Mentor Graphics, Spice, HFSS, ADS, CST simulation tools.
• Should have strong programming skills in C and Knowledgeable in C++
• Good working experience in Multi-threaded programming, RTOS, IPC
• Hardware targets: MCU/MPU: STm32Fxxx family – Cortex-M,..
• Knowledge of USB, UART, SPI, I2C interfacing and Programmers
• Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, tools, and flows.
• Willing to take on design challenges and come up with innovative solutions.
• Work with test team to develop system-level test cases
• Experience developing projects on resource-constrained, embedded systems
• Strong background in using lab equipment (i.e. logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) to test code functionality
