Senior Health and Safety Advisor – Chelmsford – Up to £55,000 – Manufacturing
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will:
- Promote effective EHS Management including influencing “behaviour” and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the site
- Ensure that all EHS policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are reviewed, updated, and communicated
- Work alongside the organisations’ key stakeholders and the wider business to implement a positive safety strategy
- Ensure risk assessments and safe working procedures are completed and reviewed within relevant timescales
- Proactively support management with risk assessments, audits and inspections across the site and create action plans for improvements
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification as a minimum
- Effective communication skills
- 3-4 years’ experience in an operational Health and Safety role
- Knowledge of ISO management systems
