Our client is a family-owned company whose distinctly independent structure means that they are not constrained by the short-term needs of individual shareholders and can focus on the future within long-term strategies of vision and leadership.

They have a reputation for providing effective products for the treatment of diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD, HIV AIDS, Parkinson's disease, Arthritis, and pain relief in Cancer.

The role of the Senior Health is to effectively demonstrate and communicate the value of an allocated product portfolio to national payers thereby removing barriers to market access, via a proactive in-house approach to Health Economics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leads the development, review and refinement of UK/Ireland National Market Access Plans Recommends the optimal HTA strategy and leads all aspects of the HTA process for allocated products in UK/Ireland
• Takes a prominent role in cross-functional Franchise teams, ensuring that Market Access is integral to brand strategy and tactics
• Proactively produces and disseminates high quality materials that communicate the value of products to national payers
• Timely and accurate delivery of horizon scanning information on pipeline products
• In depth technical knowledge of HE modelling and value communication & implementation

Candidate background required:

• At least MSc in Health Economics or equivalent discipline
• Able to work at a strategic level within cross functional teams
• Good working knowledge and practical experience of all methods of economic evaluation, the requirements and processes of HTA bodies including NICE and the SMC
• UK and Ireland market access barriers
• Development of payer materials that can be used to support market access
