Senior Health & Safety Officer - Food

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a fantastic FMCG (Food) based company with the recruitment of a Senior Health & Safety Officer. Fantastic company to work in.

This will be based in the Company's site in Newry - Permanent Role

Salary:

Responsibilities:

Will build management systems, develop improvement strategy, and plans for the site, establish governance and performance metrics, and provide professional support, coaching and guidance to the site leadership team members and their teams on all operational health, safety and environmental matters.

The Ideal Person:

• Experienced in Health and Safety management ideally gained in manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH is essential
• Demonstrable experience of continued technical development including current Health and Safety legislation
• Additional knowledge of occupation health is desirable
• Demonstrate behaviours that are focussed, supportive, decisive, driven and able to build relationships
• Demonstrates good influencing skills and has experience motivating stakeholders at all levels
