Senior Hydrogeologist, Consultancy, COR5801
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & experienced Hydrogeologist to join my client, based-in Shrewsbury. The successful Hydrogeologist will have prior commercial experience – ideally with experience working within a consultancy, and will have a sound knowledge of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements.
As the successful candidate within this role, you will be required to undergo adhoc UK travel – though this will be compensated. As such, the successful candidate will be required to have a full-clean driving licence.

They offer expertise in groundwater assessment, water resource planning, and environmental impact analysis to support responsible water usage for various sectors.

As the successful Hydrogeologist, you will be required to work out of the Shrewsbury office full-time – though the business do offer flexibility if required on an adhoc basis.

What’s required
To be successful within this position, the Hydrogeologist will have the following skills:
- A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, along with proven commercial experience within a similar Hydrogeology role – ideally with commercial experience within a consultancy environment
- A sound grasp of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements with prior experience of analytical methods of quantifying groundwater flow
- Any further experience using GIS Software, as well as experience of groundwater modelling packages would be highly advantageous
