Senior Information Security Officer – Glasgow hybrid - £50,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Information Security Professional to join our client who is actively growing their InfoSec team on a drastic scale! This opportunity will involve redesigning the global InfoSec strategy, advising senior stakeholders, and taking initiative on various InfoSec projects to ensure this growth is as secure and compliant as possible!

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the company's Information Security strategy to align with our clients growth plans.
• Have a voice in how to best grow and improve the Information Security team.
• Formulate and communicate a clear and comprehensive Information Security roadmap to enhance our clients security posture.
• Assess and prioritize security risks, ensuring that effective controls are in place to mitigate potential threats.
• Implement risk management frameworks and methodologies to safeguard our clients assets and sensitive information.
• Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring our clients compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with industry best practices.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience in a Senior Information Security leadership role, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing security strategies.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, threats, and trends in Information Security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
