Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer £60,000 per annum Brighton - Hybrid working Our client, an established name in the finance sector, is actively recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join them in their growing dedicated BAU team. As an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will expected to deliver, support and manage solutions for their infrastructure and operational systems as primarily part of their BAU team with occasional project work. They are looking for candidates with experience of supporting and delivering solutions in a professional and regulated environment. Responsibilities: Manage workload of Incidents, Change and Escalations Act as an escalation point and in turn escalate further efficiently Support infrastructure and systems and influence Change and Projects through solutions design and delivery Streamline infrastructure support practices Champion and lead automation Ensure availability, security and performance of systems Monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure and systems estate Promote collaboration and mentorship Adhere to Governance, Policies and Best Practice including infosec Maintain processes and documentation Skills & Experience: Windows Server & OS Microsoft Cloud - Azure, O365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive Active Directory and Group Policy Administration VMware vSphere & Horizon VDI Patching & PowerShell scripting Load Balancing SQL Server SAN HPE 3PAR / Nimble Networking LAN/WAN, VPN, Cisco switches & Palo Alto firewalls Backup solutions Commvault / EMC Networker DR & BC - Zerto IaaS, SaaS & PaaS In line with the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies JNC Recruitment are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies JNC Recruitment are acting as an Employment Business.
