Senior Installation, Integration & Systems Engineer

Bristol, Beckington or Barnstaple based with a hybrid working pattern. Travel for this role is also required.
The Senior Installation Integration and Support Engineer provides support and leadership to engineering teams on a variety of Defence and Non-Defence, equipment and products throughout their lifecycle: Proposals, design and design proving, test, commissioning, in-service support and training.
To work individually and within a team environment of multi-disciplined specialists and engineering disciplines to achieve programme results and customer deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.

What you will be doing:
- Deliver design and development work packages for new products and tech refreshes including integration activities.
- Assist in and often lead the repair, modification, installation and commissioning/decommissioning of Naval and Non-Naval equipment.
- Respond to short-notice callouts (including working offsite for extended periods and outside of normal working hours if necessary)
- Work offshore/overseas supporting vessels as required.
- Undertake the upkeep and amendment of Equipment Handbooks (BRs).
- Develop and deliver training programmes
- Provide technical support to the customer including via the Helpdesk.
- Support the production team on electrical, electronic, electro/mechanical, pneumatics and mechanical engineering and be proficient in cabinet, PEC multicore wiring and general assembly skills.
- Work on-board ships, submarines, in dockyards and other Naval establishments and in accordance with MoD and/or Dockyard working practices and procedures.
Experience needed:
- Possess excellent communication skills; written, verbal, etc
- Work with Work Package & Project Managers to provide accurate progress reports and escalate emergent risks and issues.
- Demonstrate good working practice and exhibit SEA values and ways of working.
- Look for and report opportunities to expand our business
- Write reports on activities undertaken and produce other technical documents
- Be confident and credible to the team, peers and customers.
- Share knowledge and best practice, continually developing the team’s capabilities.
- Understand and implement the company environmental, health & safety policy by accepting individual responsibility and responsibility for those personnel under their authority, including others who may be affected by the company’s activities.
- Ensure personnel are aware of their responsibility towards H&S and are equipped accordingly.
