Senior Instrument Engineer

Are you an Instrument Engineer with experience checking electrical deliverables?

I am working with a client who specialise in providing drilling and well services to the global energy industry. The client are dominating the drilling space and have over 30 drilling platforms globally.

We are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer who has experience checking applicable electrical deliverables for a 6 month contract. This is outside IR35.

This role is based in Aberdeen but does allow remote working.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified, or appropriate experience
• Experience and competence with instrumentation systems, fire & gas, telecoms etc
• Instrumentation brownfield experience of offshore installations
• Knowledge and experience of applicable UK legislation and standards, European and International standards, offshore codes & standards
• Competent with checking applicable instrument deliverables

The ideal candidate will have:

• Chartered Engineer Membership
• Knowledge and experience of offshore drilling facilities
• Offshore survey experience and valid certificates

Contract length - 6 Month

Start date - ASAP

Location - Aberdeen - Remote working available.

IR35 Status - Outside
