Senior Integration Engineer

Our client, is currently going through an exciting digital transformation journey and is currently recruiting for a Senior Integration Engineer to join their team. The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of a new integration strategy.

The Senior Integration Engineer will be hands on initially and will have experience of scripting and automation server technologies.

This is a remote based role.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Integration Engineer

• This role will become the SME for integrations for the organisation and would be expected to consult and partner on solution designs for integration work
• Lead the development and embedding of a new event driven integration platform using Azure technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid & Logic Apps
• Confident system integrator with expertise in API integration using REST and SOAP web services
• Able to write automation glue - ideally in PowerShell or a Microsoft based technology is critical. This is a hands-on role initially and you will need to build systems, and mentor other to do so also
• To manage the Junior Integration Engineer

Key Experience for the Senior Integration Engineer

• Experience managing, building and supporting integration platforms
• Expertise in API integration using REST and SOAP web services
• Ability to elicit requirements from customers and support further adoption and new use cases for the integration platform
• Experience with Boomi or similar production integration platform
• Ability to deliver optimal integration solutions, based on a balanced view of cost and risk to the organisation
• Ideally have experience of mentoring or manging junior members or desire to do this
