Senior Internal Communications Manager – Transformation Projects - Role Overview
Based in the agency’s corporate communications function, as Senior Internal Communications Manager you’ll be part of our Internal Communications team. You’ll be as passionate as we are about creating responsive communications that inspire, inform, and respond to our internal audiences.
The VOA is currently delivering the biggest transformation of the agency in recent history: encompassing our IT, our processes, our data, how we communicate and deal with our customers, our interactions with Local Authorities and the way our people do their job. You’ll work closely with programme and change management teams to shape, develop and deliver targeted change communication plans.
Senior Internal Communications Manager – Transformation Projects – Key Responsibilities
- Providing advice and guidance to transformation programme directors and change team colleagues, building strong working relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Developing and delivering communications plans and campaigns that support the agency’s transformation and ensuring alignment between Internal Communications and related stakeholder and external communications.
- Developing content for a range of Internal Communications channels, working with the wider communications team.
- Working with colleagues to shape and test communications to ensure it supports cultural and behavioural change.
- Evaluating change communications activity, assessing its impact and effectiveness, and adjusting communication plans accordingly.
