Salary The Family Support Service is seeking a creative, dynamic and motivated individual to join our team of Senior Intervention Workers. Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team the post holder will play a significant role in the delivery, management and leadership of targeted family support services across North Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with vulnerable children, young people and their families and will demonstrate excellent skills in motivating a team of Intervention Workers, providing supervision and case management oversight in ways that are respectful, flexible and creative.
The focus of the work will be on supporting and empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives, increasing their parenting skills and enabling children and young people to achieve successful outcomes. This work will include supervising Intervention Workers in supporting families to address a variety of issues which may be impacting upon the children and young people including domestic abuse, substance misuse and neglect.
We are seeking to employ individuals who have the ability to lead, performance manage and develop the workforce and service. Essential skills and experience required in working with children, young people and their families, multi-agency working and a commitment to ensuring that the work undertaken is underpinned by the voice and experience of the children, young people and families.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are essential and experience of using electronic case recording systems is required.
