Real Estate Business and Investment Analyst

• Location: Central London
• Salary: up to £80k + package

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Business and Investment Analyst to support the COO in business operations analyses, M&A and real estate investments across multiple sectors.

This role involves providing consistent and top-quality financial and investment analysis to support the decision-making processes as well as oversight of existing operations, asset management initiatives and investments.
The candidates must be very technically proficient and able to churn through a large volume of data with significant reporting and underwriting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor portfolio performance, accuracy of reporting and identify ways in which the organisation can operate more effectively
• Formulate and execute ways for businesses to improve
• Generate high-quality and timely forecasts and reports for investment decisions
• Manage projects and oversee the implementation of processes and decisions
• Coordinate analytical support work/pro-formas/return analyses with Development, Property Management and or Leasing personnel
• Manage the asset management, leasing and / or on-site property management teams, in order to maximize the value of the investment
• Negotiate and approve leasing proposals and capital expenditures throughout the course of the year monitor the cash flow from the investment
• Prepare the annual business plan, leasing plan, capital programme and operating budgets for each asset
• Performing in depth market research to support key underwriting assumptions
• Buy-side acquisition and underwriting of real estate multi sector assets and portfolios
• Analysis and interpretation of real estate, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational benchmarking
• Manage all aspects of the transactional and due diligence process of disposals and acquisitions
• Build and maintain working relationships to acquire market insights from internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile

The candidate is required to have +5 years of experience in Business analysis, Investment and asset management or M&A advisory experience within either a reputable private equity firm, advisory platform or investment bank and a degrees from a Top Tier University in a Finance or Real Estate focused subject.
