A Senior IT Audit Manager specialising in Data Privacy required to oversee complex internal audit work across all segments of a Group of organisations. This role is pivotal in leading audit projects, providing consulting services, and contributing to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan with a focus on Data Privacy.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Develop the Data Privacy audit plan and collaborate with the Global IT Audit Senior Director on audit strategy.
• Manage the IT Audit Manager responsible for Data Privacy audit projects.
• Build strong partnerships with the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy team.
• Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of audit and consulting projects in Data Privacy.
• Supervise multiple audit engagements and support complex, high-impact projects.
• Lead risk assessments of Data Privacy and participate in related control and governance forums.
• Communicate audit results to senior management through reports and presentations.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships within the team and across the organisation.
• Perform quality reviews of work papers and reports, ensuring timely completion.
• Provide coaching and consulting on governance, risks, and controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• Privacy certification (e.g., CIPT, CIPP, CIPM, CDPSE) is preferred.
• Proven audit experience at a major accounting or IT consulting firm.
• Extensive experience related to Data Privacy.
• Expertise in privacy policies, regulations, and technology law.
• Strong command of Data Privacy principles and understanding of regulations like GDPR, CCPA, etc.
• Highly skilled in planning, project management, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in managing small teams and working internationally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of design thinking, user-centricity, and agile methodologies.
• Experience auditing consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, or medical service companies is desirable.
• Proficiency in English and additional language skills are highly preferred.
