We're looking for a talented Senior IT Change Manager to take ownership of the enterprise plans behind the delivery of complex, large-scale projects.

As our new Senior IT Change Manager, you will:

  • Own and manage a quarterly Enterprise Plans and ensure its currency, maintenance, viability and publication.
  • Engage stakeholders, obtaining information and identifying issues and concerns.
  • Lead and manage more junior members of the team.

Managing the enterprise plans means:

  • Leading on relationships and data collection from multiple sources like projects, programmes and suppliers
  • Analysing data to understand, document and communicate release schedules, risks and dependencies.
  • Maintaining and publishing Enterprise release plans
  • Take the lead in stakeholder management - Chair regular calls, and engage with other functions and live service teams
  • Seeing the big picture - looking over multiple release package periods to understand, disseminate and communicate complex programs of work to different audiences.
  • Facilitate the movement of releases within packages/weekends with project and business stakeholders.

Your essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in the development and implementation of new processes and/or technology solutions to drive service improvement.
  • Understanding of business and technical drivers in the context of the IT System Lifecycle, including Application Development, with the experience to recognize and identify potential conflicts of interest when necessary.
  • Experience of risk management, change management and planning methodologies.
  • Excellent Relationship Management, utilising interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Technology and how it is used to improve business outcomes is also highly beneficial.

You'll be based in your choice of one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you.

We also have all the tools and tech to work flexibly. We operate a hybrid working model with some time at home and some in the office.

We offer competitive pay of up to £63,517 per annum.

You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 27.9%, worth up to £17,721 a year.

You'll get a generous leave package starting at 26 days, rising to 31 over time.

Plus, all the usual bank holidays, and the option to take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi leave.
