Morgan Hunt has partnered with an esteemed organization in Glasgow to seek a Senior IT Support Officer for a 1-year fixed-term contract.
Role Highlights:
- Spearhead and facilitate the delivery of Digital and IT Project Board priorities.
- Provide adept leadership and mentorship to the IT team, ensuring the provision of an exceptional, responsive IT service.
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders, promptly addressing issues and ensuring seamless resolution, while meeting project milestones.
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive training across the organization, optimizing staff proficiency in IT systems and data management practices.
- Monitor team performance against KPIs, compiling insightful performance management information, including monthly reports with detailed statistical analysis.
- Manage contracts, suppliers, and service providers diligently to uphold high-level service, support, and performance in alignment with agreements and SLAs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire IT project teams.
- Proficiency in analyzing and resolving complex problems, implementing effective IT solutions.
- Expertise in administering MS Office 365 and Windows Server environments.
- Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering IT projects.
- Desirable knowledge and experience in Cyber Security.
- Education to Higher Standard or equivalent, with an HND/Degree in IT/Management Information-based subject preferred.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 1-year fixed term
- Salary Range: £48,897 - £51,305 (Depending on Experience)
- Location: Glasgow
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Fridays remote, with potential for 2/3 in-office days)
- Right to work in the UK required; no sponsorship available at this time.
