CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to appoint a Senior IT Project Manager (holding ACTIVE UK SC Clearance) on a contract basis. The Senior IT Project Manager will manage several IT-related aspects of a major technology transformation programme. Working in an enterprise environment, alongside several third-party suppliers, the IT Project Manager will deliver several key technical (infrastructure) related workstreams from end-to-end.
This is an urgent requirement, so viable candidates will be contacted promptly to discuss the role.
**This position requires active UK Security Clearance and only candidates with this can be progressed**
Role Requirements
* Taking full ownership of assignment technical projects within the programme
* Be responsible for project budgeting, resource allocation, interdependencies and risks
* Provide end-to-end effective delivery throughout the project lifecycle(s)
* Provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders (incl. risks, progress and opportunities)
* Ensuring effective change management is applied
* Follow traditional project management methodologies (e.g. Prince2, APM)
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' experience in enterprise IT-related Project Management
* A successful track record of delivering technical projects in complex and secure environments
* Active UK SC Clearance
* Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement, management and presentation skills
* Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to convey technical updates to non-technical audiences
* Ability to work within and alongside multi-disciplinary teams
* Able to commute to the Warwick area (1-2 days per week)
