Senior IT Support Engineer - Peterborough (Hybrid) - �28,000 to �35,000 per annum

I have recently partnered with a major UK company who are one of the worlds leading food processing companies. we have recently partnered top find a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their internal IT team.

As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of the IT team responsible for coordinating with global IT, implementing standards, managing IT projects, and ensuring the security and availability of systems across multiple sites. The bulk of this role will be to provide support for Hardware, Desktops, and BAU support to the company's internal staff.

Required experience of the Senior IT Support Engineer role:

Experience in infrastructure support for user communities, across multiple locations
Experience in troubleshooting and configuring various networks, knowledge of current industry network standards and best practices
Proficiency in performing administrative tasks on network/security, infrastructure, storage, and virtual environments
Experience in defining, updating, documenting, and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Proficient in configuring and maintaining both physical and virtual servers
Soft skills:- Customer-focused mindset, ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
Technical:- Windows and Virtual servers, O365 and AD

About the Senior IT Support Engineer role:

Located in Peterborough
Hybrid, 3 days a week on site - after a 6 month probation period
No Sponsorship available
12 month FTC (Possibility of it going permanent)
1 stage interview process - remote
Offering between �25,000 to �35,000 per annum
