Senior IT Support Technician, Senior ITField Engineer, 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, Windows Server, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) , VLAN, Microsoft/ Windows environment, Liverpool & Ellesmere Port

PLEASE READ - Based in Liverpool 3-4 days a week and Ellesmere Port 1-2 days a week (5 days a week on site).

****Applicants MUST be able to drive and this is based on site (Liverpool & Ellesmere Port) 5 days a week - use of a company car is available****

An IT company are looking for a Senior IT Support Technician/ IT Field Technician to provide technical support (Server/ Infrastructure/ VLAN and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
• Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
• Respond to IT support tickets and service requests
