Abacus Careers are teaming up with a notable and successful Managed Service Provider in the East Belfast area who are looking for a Senior IT Engineer. They’re a company that take themselves seriously and provide excellent IT Solutions to clients efficiently and on a consistent basis. The skills you will learn are second to none and the successful candidate will gain experience across a range of very valuable tech.

This position and the company are looking for someone with at least 3+ years’ experience within an MSP. They also provide a performance bonus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 100% Helpdesk moving to a 60/40 split of helpdesk and field engineer
• Prioritising ticketing systems in line with SLAs
• Visiting client sites for any Hardware or Software issues
• Ensuring customer documentation is completed to a high standard
• Networking responsibilities for all clients
• Facilitating existing customer relationship

Technical Experience Required:

• Good Microsoft 365 experience including Exchange and Sharepoint
• Windows servers
• Cloud Hosted tech
• Cloud managed firewalls
• Antivirus
• Remote Access Utilities

Desirable skills

• VMware
• Hardware maintenance
• Linux experience
• Web development
