Senior It Systems Admin

Morgan Hunt is working for a leading public sector organisation to recruit a Senior IT Systems Administrator on a contractual basis. You'll be involved in projects aimed at enhancing our digital infrastructure and optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to enhance the digital transformation of our organization, covering all aspects of MRI Software Solutions managed internally and on-premise.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of servers and stacks, ensuring seamless operations.
• Manage SharePoint, OneDrive, and domain migrations to streamline our digital ecosystem.
• Take charge of point-to-point management of clusters, VMWare, and user-based permissions.
• Drive initiatives related to data warehousing and cyber defense, including voice and mobile management.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in server management, adept at handling various system solutions and ensuring smooth server operations.
• Proven track record in network management.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, OneDrive, and domain migration.
• Strong understanding of VMWare and user-based permissions.
• Knowledgeable in data warehousing and cyber defenses.
• Familiarity with firewalls, including Cisco and Fortinet.

Position Details:

• 8 week Contract role Outside IR35
• Daily rate: negotiable - please apply to find out more
