THE GIG The UK laboratory is SATRA-accredited and sits with our Made in England factory, testing all Research & Development materials/ products. As our Senior Lab Technician, you will supervise our UK in-house laboratory to ensure operational excellence across quality systems, equipment, and implementing our agreed test methods to a high standard, presenting accurate test data. You will also line manage our Lab Technician and help to create an inclusive environment where they are engaged and can succeed in their role. As our Senior Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Supervising the UK in-house laboratory to ensure operational excellence across quality systems, equipment, and implementing our agreed test methods to a high standard, presenting accurate test data
  • Line managing the UK Lab Technician(s) and create an inclusive environment where they are engaged and can succeed in their role
  • Manage timelines, KPI tracking, and the reporting of our lab test reports in line with wider best practice across DM’s
  • Partner with the Health & Safety (H&S) team to ensure adherence to Safe Systems of Work and wider H&S requirements
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
  • Familiar with ISO 17025, extensive experience in SATRA testing methods
  • Laboratory management experience and proficiency in the lab accreditation process
  • Experience supervising or managing a small team and creating an inclusive work environment
  • Knowledge in performance testing, physical testing, product safety requirements are highly preferred
