Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a food testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire
Responsibilities:
Analysing food samples using analytical techniques such as GC-FID, GC and GC-MS
Analysing food contaminants using analytical techniques
Analysis and investigation of results
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Work according to ISO17025 guidelines
To undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility requested by a senior managers
Qualifications:
Degree in chemistry or equivalent
Previous experience in working within an accredited laboratory such UKAS laboratory is essential
Previous experience in using analytical techniques such as GC-FID, ICP, ICP-OES, GC-MS is essential
Previous experience in working within a food chemistry testing laboratory is highly desired
Excellent communication and written skills
