My client is an established award-winning housebuilder with continued growth plans. They are keen to recruit a dynamic Senior Land Manager with a proven track record of acquiring immediate land. The company build an excellent product in desirable locations and have significant funding available, ensuring quick approval. This opportunity would suit either a Land Manager looking for the next step in their career, or a Senior Land Manager wishing to join an expanding company.

Responsibilities include:

• Identification and initial assessment of land for residential development across the South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham area
• Negotiating contracts to achieve the most favourable terms and conditions
• Responsible for projects from initial site identification, appraisal and approval, acquisition and achieving implementable planning permission
• work closely with internal departments to ensure that all departments contribute fully into the land bid process
• Be highly visible within the land and professional community, consistently developing your network
• Supporting the Land Director in representing the land team at Management Meetings
• Mentoring and leading more junior members or the land team as well as assisting in the decision-making process of land bids
