Senior Landscape Architect

A Senior Landscape Architect is required local to Manchester to play a crucial part in supporting the business by taking a lead role in project management and delivery of multidisciplinary Landscape Architecture-led design projects. We seek an individual with a creative focus, possessing excellent design and delivery experience, coupled with strong project management and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will hold CMLI qualification, bringing several years of relevant experience within the profession and a genuine passion for design and the environment.
Role Overview
Guiding and overseeing prominent multi-disciplinary design projects throughout all Landscape Institute / RIBA work stages, providing valuable insights and advice to the broader team and the overall business.
Supervising, nurturing, and empowering a team of Landscape Architects.
Showcasing robust organisational skills and adept job management capabilities.
Exercising autonomy or collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, efficiently handling individual project tasks.
Taking the lead in fostering design reviews with a steadfast commitment to maintaining consistent, quality-driven approaches.
Upholding and showcasing high-quality standards, ensuring efficient and profitable project delivery.
Experience & Skills Required
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
A creative and talented designer
Demonstrable experience in leading projects and coordinating a team effort.
Experience in undertaking detailed design and delivery of projects.
Strong CAD and graphic (Adobe) capability
Aspirations to work on innovative schemes.
Keen interest in landscape / environment
Initiative and drive, with a positive attitude
Strong knowledge of current planning and environmental legislation
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work at all levels with colleagues and clients.
Experience of NBS Specification Manager, Sketchup
Experience in delivery of projects in public realm, residential, leisure and commercial sectors
Salary:- £30,000 - £40,000 + Pension, Holidays, Technology Scheme, & More
