Job Description
- Managing litigation and regulatory issues.
- Preparing and arranging a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
- Overseeing commercial arrangements including those internally and externally.
- Reporting of legal matters to Executive and Board level.
- Liaising with external counsel.
- Identifying legal risk
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:
- A Law degree from a recognised institution.
- Preparing and arranging a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
- Proven experience as a legal counsel in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to the Energy and Natural Resources industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
