A Senior Legal Counsel is required to join an innovative, market-leading insurance company on a permanent basis.

The successful Senior Legal Counsel will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements and will be based out of the office in Manchester.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be joining a close knit legal team that works seamlessly with the organisation as a whole. To be considered for this role you will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEx), and previous experience in the insurance or the wider financial industry would be beneficial but not essential.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, your role will include, but is not limited to:

• Providing expert legal advice to the Group and supporting senior stakeholders in the business and business units to include Underwriting, Finance, Tax and Claims
• Advising on Company law and broader corporate matters
• Drafting, updating and reviewing a variety of commercial and insurance-based agreements (both regulated and non-regulated)
