Overview: The Senior License Compliance Analyst is a key contributor to the success of AspenTech’s Software Compliance team which focuses on worldwide enforcement and monetarization of non-genuine and non-compliant use of AspenTech software.

The Senior License Compliance Analyst is mainly responsible for the management, analysis and vetting of compliance data to generate high quality actionable leads to support with resolution of compliance cases via the global sales team. This role actively engages with multiple departments across the organization to protect AspenTech’s intellectual property and support the execution of AspenTech’s Compliance Intelligence Strategy.

The role requires an analytical and self-motivated individual with a track record of overachievement. A successful candidate will need to think creatively, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Report to the Manager of License Compliance to perform a broad range of activities to support AspenTech’s Software Compliance Program

• Work cross-functionally with global sales, legal, operations, product management, and R&D to execute upon AspenTech’s Compliance Intelligence Strategy

• Triangulate multiple internal datasets and apply a customer compliance score to rank and prioritize actionable non-compliant targets. Actively support AspenTech Audit program

• Responsible for working with AspenTech’s third party vendor who monitors and supplies customer compliance data to enhance data integrity and technical enhancements

• Identify compliance issues, based on the terms of the applicable agreement(s), and partner with the sales team to identify resolutions for any identified compliance violations

• Manage and maintain License Compliance reports and dashboards within AspenTech Salesforce. Use initiative to enhance reporting, tracking, processes, metrics and visualization

• Manage and maintain License Compliance documentation, and support with providing program awareness and education to the global sales organization

• Support with preparation for Quarterly Business Performance review, including reporting of key business metrics related to License Compliance activities and revenue generation

• Support the efficient distribution of compliance reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization


Qualifications:

Experience in an Analyst or Sales Operations role

• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills. Experience desired with Salesforce CRM system

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with large quantities of data • Organized and adaptable business professional with desire for success

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and to serve the diverse needs of the Global Sales Operations Team

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are imperative

• Bachelor's degree required
