Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Senior Loss Prevention Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will be based at either Chessington World of Adventures Resort or Thorpe Park Resort, and reports into the Regional Head of Profit Protection - UK & Europe. We are offering a minimum of 30 hours per week for those candidates looking for more flexibility.


As a guardian of integrity, your mission is clear: prevent, detect, investigate, and recover losses to our business, ensuring that every penny stays where it belongs. Your key responsibilities include;


️‍ ️ Investigation Wizard: Lead local investigations, gather evidence, and conduct interviews to align with legal requirements.

Risk Mitigation Guru: Provide expert advice to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Training Pro: Empower teams through engaging Profit Protection training sessions and policy implementation.

Data Whisperer: Utilise data analysis to proactively identify losses, conducting audits and providing feedback.

Strategic Partner: Support Attractions in reducing loss KPIs through strategic analysis of data and revenue figures.

Reporting Master: Collate accurate loss figures, providing detailed analysis and action plans to minimise losses.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of the business
  • Highly numerate with analytical skills, and a keen interest in revenue, revenue loss and compliance
  • High level of knowledge of Microsoft office software is essential, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Computer literate and able to use various POS and reporting systems
  • Previous experience in Loss Prevention, investigations, security, inventory controls, compliance, or a related field highly desirable
  • Previous experience in retail, food & beverage, visitor attractions, or tourist industry desirable
  • Clean driving licence
  • You will be required to work four days a week in an office location, with a mix of days spent at either Chessington World of Adventures Resort or Thorpe Park Resort

Pay Range: Compensation between GBP £40,000.00/Yr.-GBP £44,000.00/Yr.
