A WE is currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Planner to manage and provide p lanning oversite of maintenance delivery planning. Line manage and develop staff and ensur e company assets are maintained and p lanned in a way to ensure that the site and its residents are kept safe, clean and secure.
Senior Maintenance Planner
Location: Reading / Basingstoke area
Salary: £ 44 ,9 10 - £ 51 ,000 depending on experience

What will you be responsible for?
  • Appraise, monitor and arrange staff training to certify the competence of staff in accordance with facility and trade competency assessment requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure reasons for the non-completion of maintenance tasks are valid, accurately documented and facility management / facility engineering are suitably advised and informed.

  • Bring to the attention of line management, facility management, Principal Maintenance and Reliability Engineer (PMRE) and Principal Asset Engineer (PAE), any matter, revealed during maintenance delivery that has indicated that the performance, safe operation or condition of the plant may have been affected.
  • Monitor and demonstrate proactive means of self-assurance that planning task execution, staff behaviours and relevant documentation is suitable and sufficient to demonstrate Asset Management (Plant and Equipment) compliance and AWE core values.
  • Agree maintenance programmes and schedules with facility management and planning; assist the review and development process regarding the planned maintenance programme.
  • Delegate and develop planning staff as necessary, identify resource numbers and skills to ensure they are appropriate to deliver functional requirement.
  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

What will you need to be considered?
  • A broad base of maintenance planning and maintenance delivery principles

  • K nowledge of safety management arrangements and systems

  • E xperience of operational maintenance service delivery
  • Experience in maintenance planning

  • Expert knowledge of Asset Management and maintenance arrangements

  • Experience in Management of planning teams

  • Extensive experience in the use of either an Enterprise Asset Management system or CMMS

  • Workplace safety, Legislative compliance & safety

  • Champion planning and maintenance process improvement events.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
