Salary: £52,000 up to £60,000 dependent upon experience

The Role
Developing new business opportunities and programme management of a portfolio of projects for CAA International. Line management, team development, account management with our customers and additional responsibilities to support the strategic development, profitability of our portfolio to support our overall purpose and vision.
About You
- Graduate or relevant industry experience
- Significant experience in Business Development, proposal writing/Tenders, and contract negotiations preferably in aviation
- Significant experience in project/programme management delivery of various projects throughout the whole project lifecycle would be desirable, preferably in an international environment.
- Experience in project methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile), ideally coupled with a formal Project Management qualification such as APM, PMP or Prince 2 would be desirable
- People management experience and ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams throughout bid development and project delivery in an international environment
- Aviation experience desirable with a background in a technically orientated industry
- Team player and working collaboratively
- Excellent IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ideally have experience with a Customer Relationship Management tool
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with experience of working to deadlines
- Commercial judgement and a broad understanding of the international aviation community
- Ability to demonstrate relationship management with executive level clients, stakeholders, and sub-contractors
- Excellent understanding of risk management principles and contingency planning
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and an awareness and appreciation of working with international clients
- Experience in representing organisations at conferences and events
- Flexible approach to meet the demands of the business
- Language skills/ability to speak several languages would be advantageous

For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.
