Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement key client relationship strategies in collaboration with the client relationship partner
- Establish efficient channels and find innovative solutions for handling client communication across the firm
- Identify new business opportunities including the promotion of all of the firm’s products and services across Legal, Corporate Services and Regulatory Consulting
- Work with key account teams to develop annual account plans including setting annual relationship KPI's and objectives, in order to achieve agreed outcomes
- Work with client relationship partners and key stakeholders to co-ordinate and deliver quarterly review meetings for each key account, ensuring the actions from these meetings are followed up
- Lead quarterly meetings for each key account team ensuring that data reports are understood and circulated in advance of each meeting, with key insights highlighted for discussion
- Develop and co-ordinate a programme of regular meetings and events (at all levels) between the firm and each key account and attend meetings / calls with key clients, as required
- Work with the firm's in-house Client Research team to commission and analyse data and assist the key account teams in understanding the status of each relationship and identify potential gaps / opportunities
- Develop and deliver a calendar of regular reporting on the performance of the key account portfolio to key stakeholders, to provide regular updates on activity status, workflows, financials, pipeline, market intelligence, upcoming marketing and BD activity and rolling action lists
- Develop and maintain client portal along with our internal key account teams sites, to contain all data reports and market intel
- Drive best practice utilisation of the firm's CRM and reporting systems in order to ensure that relationship activity, new pipeline opportunities and market intelligence are accurately recorded and reported on, in order to drive key account management activity
- Liaise with the internal communications team to ensure that key client success stories are shared internally across the group
- Liaise with the marketing team to ensure that relevant collateral is developed for Key Accounts, as needed
- Support RFP and panel submissions as required
Background & Experience:
- Proven track record of key account and event management in a Professional Services environment and a major financial centre
- Extensive experience in a B2B related industry
- The ability to build rapport and trust with key clients who are senior professionals
- Great problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work with a range of personalities, levels and cultural backgrounds with strong interpersonal, inter-cultural, communication and negotiation skills
- Capable of managing and implementing marketing and BD activity to a high standard
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities to bring operational efficiency to a key account management programme
- Flexibility with working hours as necessary (in line with the firm's flexible working policy)
- A strong team player with an intelligent, proactive and pragmatic approach
- Ability to simultaneously multi-task across responsibilities in short time-frames
