What you’ll do
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Service Introduction (SI) within our Group Service Management organisation, to lead and develop the Service Introduction function and team.
Define and deliver the SI strategy and vision within GSM, driving continual improvement and ongoing maturity of the SI function.
Build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, operational, and delivery areas acting as a 'trusted advisor’, providing senior-level mentorship to consistently deliver successful readiness outcomes without impacting delivery or compromising Service Acceptance. The role will span Sky Group territories including UK, Italy, and Germany, and collaborative partnerships with our colleagues in Comcast NBCU.
Ensure all new and changed services meet service acceptance criteria through early engagement with programmes, effective management throughout service delivery and managing escalations as needed.
Support the wider GSM team by leading on the annual financial planning cycle for GSM, tracking SI team recovery costs against forecasts, and securing funding for ongoing GSM support.
Lead the SI team through effective demand and capacity planning, recruitment and team coaching.
What you'll bring
A consistent track record of running and leading teams to successfully deliver Service Introduction and readiness across multi-platform, cross Service domain delivery programmes and projects.
We want you to be experienced and comfortable in leading teams to manage Service Introduction at consistently high standards, and stakeholder satisfaction
You will have delivered Readiness across sophisticated large scale IT initiatives from start to finish and experienced all phases of the service delivery lifecycle, ideally in an industry sector or area relatable to Sky’s core products and services.
You will have the vision, drive & diplomacy to craft and drive Service Introduction strategies in challenging environments. Resolving tension and growing collaboration towards shared readiness goals in any situation.
