Senior Market Research Executive

I am working exclusively with a global leader in Market Research & customer insights to recruit a Senior Market Research Executive to join their specialist team in Surrey.

Focused on the veterinary and companion animal sectors, their ground-breaking research provides their clients with data on market trends, market forecasts and specific customer insights, enabling them to identify business opportunities and develop successful strategies.

This is an exciting time to join them as they continue to expand due to increased demand for their services and products. In particular, within the Animal Healthcare markets (previous knowledge or experience within AH markets is not essential, but a personal interest such as studying veterinary medicine or zoology, having grow up on a farm or stables, or worked / volunteered around pets such as animal rescue shelters will be beneficial).

This role will support the delivery of a range of large-scale research projects as well as leading small research projects within the veterinary and companion animal sectors. You will be supporting the team through contributing to the design of qualitative and quantitative proposals.

This hybrid role will be home-based with travel to the company's office in Leatherhead 1-2 days per week which is commutable directly from London, Guildford, Dorking. Their flexible working hours are available to accommodate your commute should you decide to travel rather than relocate. You are welcome to work from home 2 to 3 times a week.

They are a dog friendly office, with 4 resident dogs (2 of these are big German Shepherds), and the office is located on the 1st floor with steps outside of the building. The office is nice, they have approx. 20 employees working in there, they have a fully stocked kitchen with food, snacks etc and they bring in breakfast items. There is an early finish on Friday at 4pm and they also open up the mini bar. Lunchtimes you can walk with dogs.

Key activities:

• Manages fieldwork (in some cases working with panel partners) including telephone and in-person interviews, online focus groups and quantitative surveys.
• Designs research materials (questionnaires, discussion guides, timings, DP specs, stimulus etc.)
• Cleans data, tabulates using analytical software (SPSS, Q) and charts data to aid interpretation.
• Communicated effectively and independently with clients on a day-to-day basis.
• Demonstrates an ability to understand clients' business needs.
• Participates in client presentations of research outcomes.
• Programmes, tests and launches quantitative surveys and recruitment surveys for qualitative fieldwork.
• Analyses data to investigate objectives, contributing to the production of highly visual research reports.
• Aid in the development of research proposals, getting quotes from suppliers and costing up projects.
• Has strong writing skills - descriptive and interpretative.
• Understands what contributes to the overall job profitability.
• Has excellent time management and organisational skills -efficiency is expected in all tasks.
