Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our Destination Sport Group marketing team. This is a B2B focused marketing role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for increasing awareness of Destination Sport Group and communicating value proposition to support business growth.
No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but on a typical day you will
- Manage B2B marketing activity for Destination Sport Group, leveraging a variety of online and offline channels
- Support the Business Development team by producing and briefing compelling materials to support with new proposals and tenders
- Be the point of contact for head office marketing requests across the business including branding, company documentation and presentations
- Manage Destination Sport Group’s owned digital channels including website and social media
- Write compelling copy i.e. blogs and case studies to articulate the value proposition of Destination Sport and its divisions
- Support with tenders and new business proposals including copywriting, proofreading and re-working content
- Proactively consider opportunities to increase the profile of Destination Sport via PR opportunities, working collaboratively with the appointed PR agency
- Collaborate with partners to understand opportunities to leverage partnership rights to achieve B2B marketing objectives including partnership announcements, testimonials and case studies
- Work with HR team to support on internal staff communication including newsletters and staff recognition/incentives
- Work effectively with Destination Sport’s central marketing team (content, design and performance/digital marketing) and divisional marketing teams
To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate have
- A degree level education in a relevant industry
- A passion for all things sport & travel
- B2B marketing experience for a brand, agency, or sports organisation
- A Proven track record in delivering B2B marketing activity to drive company growth
- A working understanding of marketing mix including online and offline channels
- Experience in supporting business development processes i.e. creation of proposals and tender writing
- Outstanding copywriting skills and a sharp eye for detail
- The ability to work to brand guidelines & ensure continuity across projects
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Strong written and verbal communications to effectively collaborate with internal teams
- Exposure to creative software including Adobe Creative Cloud would be advantageous
- Experience working within the sport/ travel industry would be highly advantageous (but not essential)
