Job description

Copart is the global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling and are looking to recruit a collaborative and ROI focused Senior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team, based at our Head Office in Wootton, Bedfordshire.

We have seen large scale growth since we entered the UK market in 2007 and have exciting plans to continue this growth in both the UK and Europe and we're looking for the right candidate to help deliver this success and grow with us.


This role will be responsible for implementing Copart's ambitious marketing and external communications and campaign strategy and will work closely with cross-functional teams to oversee our activities across our brands.


We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage multi-dimensional digital projects and initiatives to drive acquisition, growth, and retention across channels, with a focus in developing impactful email communications.

You'll take ownership of the Marketing Plan and make sure that our strategy is being delivered on time and to an exceptional standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns and cross-channel communications of our portfolio of brands, managing different stakeholders as the campaign lead
  • Develop a clear positioning and points of differentiation for our portfolio of brands and ensure that all marketing communications, both offline and online, reflect market leading position and propositions of our brands with our industry
  • Develop, manage and execute the purposeful campaign and marketing plans in line with our long term strategy and growth targets to increase leads and revenue for our Sales Teams
  • Design attractive and effective multi-channel marketing initiatives, campaigns and promotions to drive new customer acquisition
  • Develop content, communicate to external customers and build relationships with key contacts
  • Measure and report on the success of promotional campaigns. Produce sales analysis and campaign reports
  • Drive promotion and lead generation of new product development, to support business growth
  • Own the Portfolio & Campaign strategy from execution through to measurement, best practice content creation and amplification
  • To implement our brand and external communications strategy for both existing and potential customers
  • Develop copy and produce effective marketing and sales collateral to support new business activities
  • To conduct ROI analysis on all marketing activities and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation and promote a one team culture

What we need from you:

  • An ambitious, commercial marketer with excellent and creative copywriting skills
  • A collaborative work style and a team player
  • Experienced in using email platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in demand creation and contact acquisition campaigns
  • Experience of integrated promotional, direct marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Good understanding of digital & social media
  • A confident communicator, who will network and develop strong and productive business relationships
  • Good understanding and awareness of brand management
  • Able to manage a demanding schedule and deliver multiple marketing projects to tight deadlines, under pressure and within budget
  • Demonstrable experience of running successful projects from inception to delivery (with numbers to prove its impact)
  • Great planning, project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Adept in Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Marketing degree, qualification or CIM
  • Well organised and thorough, with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of the automotive sector and HTML coding are desirable, but not essential
