About the role
Here’s a great opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager – Business to Business to join the Marketing Team and Commercial Office within the Society as a key leader.
Responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals, setting the agenda, and ensuring alignment to the development of a strategic plan, shared goals and reporting progress on the delivery of the objectives and the key results.
Continuing to build our reputation with our intermediary partners, with particular focus on our network of mortgage brokers and advisers. Playing a critical role in the strategy and actions we follow in communicating our proposition.
Working closely with our intermediary, product, and proposition teams to make sure our offering is attractive and relevant to our intermediaries and members.
Making sure our brand is understood, shows up consistently and is distinctive. You’ll look at the channels where we appear and explore ways to develop and improve our usage of them.
Represent Marketing on society change projects working collaboratively with other areas and empowered to make decisions for the Marketing elements of the project.

About you
You’ll have extensive experience working within relevant marketing functions that gives you a point of view on best practice and its relevance to Coventry Building Society and the work you are doing.
You will work well with others as well as being able to deliver independently.
You’ll have strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage with, listen and respond to your stakeholders.
You’ll be an effective role model leader, able to set the agenda motivating others to deliver ambitious plans that align to the strategic plan.
You will be highly organised, with a strong level of commercial awareness. With a busy agenda you will be able to multitask, delegate to others and able to make prioritisation decisions that are in the best interests of the wider Society.
You’ll be results driven and are able to understand data and make informed decisions and formulate hypothesis from results.
You will be credible, confident to represent the team to senior stakeholders and external contacts always acting with integrity, protecting the Society’s interests.
