The Client:

Our client is a leading M&E Consultancy, renowned for delivering innovative electrical design solutions across diverse projects.

The Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead mechanical services design projects and mentor junior members of the mechanical engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Design Mechanical Services, produce specifications, and draft drawings.
• Collaborate with Electrical, CAD, and Secretarial staff for efficient production processes.
• Represent Mechanical and Electrical Design at Design Team Meetings.
• Operate ACad and BIM Systems, undertake training in REVIT MEP.
• Perform condition assessments, PPM Surveys, and Reports.
• Conduct defects inspections and issue certifications.
• Write operation and maintenance manuals.
• Produce SBem and Sap Calculations.
• Attend client and professional meetings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in building services design sector.
• Hold HNC in building services engineering.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• A full driving license and car access required.
