Role & Responsibilities:
- Building & reviewing 3D models in CAD of large and small composite components & structural assemblies
- Assuring designs for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability.
- Working with Flight teams and our vehicle integration engineers to specify component and system tests.
- Transition of prototype Mechanical Designs into production
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience within engineering environment within a similar role
- CAD experience (SolidWorks), and adept use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Evidence of successful and novel designs created using rapid prototyping techniques.
