About the Opportunity
As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team based out of Phoenix House, Stockton on Tees. We have a team of approximately 140 based in the office offering Project Management and multi-engineering delivery capability. We offer a range of solutions, across a variety of clients and business sectors through the full project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning. The projects we are currently involved in include: clean energy (green hydrogen and fusion), effluent treatment, steam generation as well as nuclear decommissioning for a diverse range of clients.
  • Developing and implementing engineering solutions for complex engineering projects, from concept design proposals through to design for manufacture, the full project life cycle
  • Identifying design, statutory and regulatory requirements, and contributing to risk assessments
  • Producing technical reports, technical specifications and scoping calculations
  • Reviewing technical deliverables, including reports and drawings
  • Presenting engineering solutions to stakeholders and as part of design reviews
  • Delivering your scope of work to time and budget

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (e.g. HNC/HND with significant experience) in engineering discipline
  • Attained/ or working towards chartered or incorporated status with a recognised professional body (e.g. IMechE)
  • Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous
  • Previous knowledge of glove box design preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity of AutoDesk products (Inventor)
