Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects. As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

• Creating accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders from mechanical services design drawings (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
• Working closely with the business development, design, and operations teams to ensure the best technical and commercial solutions are delivered to our clients.
• Reviewing and evaluating tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assisting in the training and development of junior estimators.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industry.
• A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• A strong knowledge of mechanical services systems, standards, codes, and regulations.
• A proficient user of computer estimation software, such as Trimble or Causeway.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work.
