Job Description
- Alongside the Head of Merchandising, support the building and implementation of new reporting systems
- Identify consumer trends and make recommendations for product range enhancements
- Manage inventory and product placement in alignment with brand standards
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective promotional strategies
- Assess sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Participate in the selection of new products and the phasing out of old products
- Prepare and present reports on merchandising activity
- Ensure compliance with relevant retail regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Merchandiser should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or a related field
- Experience in retail or merchandising is preferable.
- Open to experience in supply chain/demand planning/data analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A keen eye for retail trends and market conditions
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology
