Responsibilities:
We are seeking an adept Metals Trader/buyer with a proven track record in procuring scrap and waste non-ferrous metal. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing scrap, non-ferrous metal for our client's multi-million-pound, purpose-built facility.
You will liaise with the Regional Manager daily concerning specific market conditions and commercial requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a non-ferrous metal buyer/trader, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the non-ferrous metal and scrap metal waste market. Proficiency in product grading is essential. Remuneration is negotiable based on the candidate's suitability. Our client seeks an individual who is highly driven and focused, with a keen eye for sourcing the right materials. The ability to identify opportunities for business expansion and increased tonnage is paramount.
