Senior Middle Office Associate

The role itself is for a Middle Office Associate, where you will oversee Trade Settlement client relationships, by providing customer service and loan settlement service to an ever-growing client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client portfolios and agency trades within the loan trade settlement outsourcing services.
• Work with trade counterparties to receive and review distressed trade documentation.
• Work with legal counsel to discuss distressed trades and participations.
• Coordinate trade closings among clients, counterparties, and agents.
• Review trade documentation, including trade confirms, assignment agreements, and funding memos etc prior to settlement.
• Deliver closing packets to custodians and clients.
• Report client metrics and trends on a monthly basis.

Experience Required

• Commercial experience of working within a Middle Office role with a focus on trade settlement.
• Team leading skills
• Experience of par and distressed loans, alongside daily loan transactions.
• Experience of trade fee calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret credit agreements.
• ClearPar/TSI/Markit systems experience would be beneficial.
