Join our financial services client as a Senior Middleware Engineer, leveraging your expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Be a key player in the clients Technology Operations and Cyber Security function, managing critical bank systems. Responsibilities include certificate renewals, project ownership, collaboration for optimal service delivery, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Skills

• Extensive WAS Network Deployment skills.
• A full understanding of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) infrastructure technologies including: IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (Deployment, configuration and problem determination & resolution)
• IBM HTTP Server
• IBM WebSphere Portal
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in driving issue resolution.
• Initiative-driven with ownership of project deliverables.
• Flexibility for potential out-of-hours support.

It would be advantageous if you had any of the following:

• Technical Support role experience.
• J2EE Development framework exposure.
• Banking operational knowledge.
• Awareness of ITIL processes.
• Full understanding of WAS infrastructure.
• WAS Build and Application deployment automation using orchestration Tools like IBM UrbanCode Deploy
