We are now seeking an experienced technical Pricing Specialist to play an active part in enhancing our Pricing Technical Strategy.
Working collaboratively with the Pricing Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative technical solutions to support the department in delivering pricing for a wide product range and ensuring accurate costing and an optimised premium strength. You will also be involved in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of tests to ensure the integrity, confidence and accuracy of all rate models and to support the quality assurance process.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. About you
We are seeking a confident and dynamic insurance pricing professional, experienced in modelling with direct responsibility for pricing outputs. You'll have experience of running multiple streams of work simultaneously and will also have experience of building and using pricing models - loss cost and/or demand models, ideally utilising Emblem or R.
As a senior member of the team, we hope that you'll be able to confidently conduct peer reviews of models as well as possessing strong influencing and relationship building skills.
You'll also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong technical pricing skills across a variety of GI products, ideally across both personal and commercial lines
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- An aptitude for making the complex simple for others.
