The Underwriting team is highly dynamic, which is the nature of the company, built on strong technology and the ability to tailor make solutions. Rather than being held down by legacy systems, contracts and processes. You will be transforming and streamlining the Underwriting process, to help with better customer selection, battling fraud and steering critical business metrics.

About the Role:
As a Senior Motor Underwriter, you will work in the Pricing and Underwriting team. You will be comfortable juggling multiple projects, whilst communicating effectively and building good working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Defining the underwriting processes for new business entry, as well as renewal processes, with a digital analytical mentality.
- Enhance the search and select for the customers policy to ensure the accuracy of pricing and underwriting.
- Build relationships across the business with Customer Care and Claims teams to optimize customer experience and retention.
- Working with Data driven capabilities.
- Understand and improve the customer offering, leading the development of new product offerings.
- Keep up with market trends and regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the motor insurance industry – open on level of experience with a minimum of around 3 -5yrs in Underwriting.
- Dynamic, able to work with change and data driven information
- Proactive, able to help build something up from a successful European establishment to the UK.
- Keen to enhance responsibility in the team, with a view to grow your responsibilities as the company grows.
Nice to have skills but not essential
Data skills, Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
