Senior .Net Developer

Do you have Developer experience and are seeking a new job in Manchester? Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Senior .NET Developer, and the hybrid role comes with a salary of £72,000 to £88,000 and excellent benefits.

As a Senior Developer, you will work 35 hours a week. 8-6 are the core hours, and you can work flexibly within these hours. The hybrid role is mainly remote - candidates will need to attend the office once a month for team meetings. You must be based in the North West, and ideally, candidates will have experience working in a start-up company.

During your first few weeks in this Senior Software Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner, applying root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Help manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and upskilling of other engineers
• Help the team identify engineering tasks and prioritise the backlog in relation to project and support need
• Enhance operational reliability and scalability of existing products

To apply for this Senior .NETDeveloper position, you will need 7-10 years of experience and experience building CI/CD pipelines and utilising infrastructure as code - preferably Azure DevOps and Terraform Automated testing, including test-driven development (TDD). Additional qualifications include:

• .NET (.NET core up to .NET 8)
• Modern microservice architectures event-driven systems and cloud-based systems
• System design
• Azure SQL or SQL Server
• AKS/Kubernetes
