Senior .Net Developer

This role is exceptionally varied, and you will have opportunity to support across a wide programme of work to support Marston’s Pub Company in delivering market leading technical solutions.
 
The Role:
• Design, build, test and maintain modern software 5
• Apply development best practices and patterns in relation to security, scalability and performance
• Contribute to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment, including architecture, estimation, product planning, user story/requirement creation
• Mentor other developers and innovate with leading edge technology
 The Ideal Candidate must have the following technical experience:
• C#, .Net Core, MVC/Razor, Entity Framework, SQL, unit testing, Git
• Working with Azure and awareness of relevant components (App Services, App Insights, Key Vault, Service Bus, Function Apps, API Management, etc.)
• A good communicator, with the ability to articulate issues to technical and non-technical people
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot live 5
• Understand and apply the SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experienced at balancing technical decisions with user needs and commercial constraints

Experience with the following would be advantageous but not essential:
• Modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.) and Blazor
• Exposure of working in an agile environment, with Azure DevOps, and able to apply common DevOps practices
• Awareness of microservices and service orientated architecture
